I hope the light rail is moving by the time the August meeting rolls
around. I'll look to see next month.
While I'm kind of surprised that it is taking that long to run again, I
can see some of the problems to do it. VTA seems to be training a new
set of operators to replace the deceased.
I wish the media was clearer about what it takes to legally run a public
transit system. I'm also not understanding why political leaders have
not declared this situation an emergency and overruled some of the
regulations that prevent them from offering service right now.
