I actually have conflict for Tuesday, but I think we are close to resuming.
I think for a pod, it's OK to meet in an indoor, relatively unventilated
space like Panera. For a small group of unrelated people, its OK when we
reach yellow, which Santa Clara count has not. For full on indoor
meeting, we are really supposed to wait until June 15.
I'm really watching the community infection level. I'm vaccinated, but I
don't want to spread the virus and shut the county down again. This
would all be moot in a ventilated space.
For the meeting, I have the same laptop, and the same external router
for Internet that I had before the pandemic. Some things change slowly.
The router now comes with a control panel that can't operate with
Firefox 45. I haven't really practiced with it enough, so I'll look
forward to trying that.
