Yes.
   I'm not giving up on Milpitas yet.  I do need to minimize the longish 
drive for awhile.  Trouble is, I've no way to know for how long.  Having 
at worst a short drive definitely would be easier for me.

There's the *real* rub.  I would, but our home hasn't any single room 
that's appropriate/adequate.

So in connection with another group's meetings, awhile ago I looked into 
places I knew once offered after-hours free space to "suitable" groups. 
  Only one still offered at all; but now for a hefty minimum fee.
