Therein is a *cornucopia* of still useful information. The magazines are "must have", I'd think, if we want to lay claim to a "museum". I own Vols 1-3 of "OS/2 Magazine", complete save for volume-1 number-1. Otherwise it's the whole enchilada, I think; every issue published. Got 'em a few years ago from Alan Zeichick (first Editor), who lives just across the Bay. I virtually never loan mine. It might be nice for us all to have circulating copies available?? Actually, as it is we've more of a Library than a Museum anyway. I can absorb them, storage-wise (somehow). Question is how to get them here. With your agreement, I can talk to Gord - we've been email friends for years. See what he thinks it would cost to ship everything to my home, ...or wherever. - Bill > > Neil > > ** Forwarding message from madodel on Sun, 26 Jul 2009 20:21:20 -0400 > Gordon Snider wrote: >> Mark, >> I seem to remember you are connected with an OS/2 museum. >> Do your exhibits include OS/2 magazines? > > Thanks for thinking of the Museum, but we already have several years of > OS/2 Magazine and OS/2 Professional magazines. Don't worry. Lots of these are around, I'm just testing the waters. It would be good to have a connection to your IBM collector just for community. > > Or maybe.. I wonder if the Computer History Museum would be a good > collaboration too? I think it would be excellent, but they have not returned my e-mails. Someday I'll meet them in person and see what they'd like. Personally, I have too much OS/2 paraphenalia, and I'd like to part with even more of it. I am grateful to Bill for storing the library. best regards, Neil -- Neil Waldhauer, neil at blondeguy.com What do you get when you cross a kangaroo with an elephant? Potholes all over Australia.
